This week we are sharing a summer snapshot. It can be a favorite memory past or current. I am choosing to share with you a picture from last summer and tell you about a new tradition for my family!
We all know how crazy busy the school year is. There is no time for trips or to do anything during the night or the weekend. My family happens to be pretty spread out (except my brother who lives in Chicago also.) We were born and raised in central Indiana but now live all over. It is tough at times. My sister is in Augusta Georgia - which is pretty tricky to get to. She is the mom to my first and only niece who is just over a year old. Luckily technology makes it easy for us to connect often. Last summer we went down to meet her for the first time. Our plan is to go back every summer as a tradition. This year we are not going until July, I am excited though!

Georgia is nice and hot in July! That niece of yours is precious! I'm expecting a new niece or nephew in January. I'll have to travel to Wisconsin in January though, not nearly as nice as Georgia in summer. Enjoy your trip!
ReplyDeleteJoya :)
Yes! It will be super hot! Traveling to Wisconsin in January will not quite be the same as Georgia. I live in Chicago, so I know a little about that. It will be a good reason to travel there though! Thanks!

Your niece looks so precious! That would be hard having your family all over. Thank goodness for the internet which makes it so much easier to stay in touch. Enjoy your visit to Georgia, what a wonderful family tradition to have!
